Hannah Sernett, a senior art and design major at 91̽»¨, has won a competition to design the booth used by the Exhibit Designers and Producers Association<\/i><\/a> at EuroShop 2017<\/i><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Euroshop is Europe’s largest exhibit and retail design trade show, held every three years. For winning the contest, the Shakopee, Minn., native will travel to Dusseldorf, Germany, and attend the show from March 5-9, 2017, as a representative in the association’s booth.<\/p>\n

“I got an email – and I wasn’t supposed to know yet. The opportunity is absolutely amazing,” she said. “It had me speechless for the first two days – I wasn’t sure how to respond.<\/p>\n

“I’m waiting for that moment of walking into the trade show and saying ‘I created this.’”<\/p>\n

Sernett’s entry into the contest was a project in an Exhibit Design\/Trade Show course taught by Sachel Josefson<\/strong><\/a>, assistant professor of technology, art and design.<\/p>\n
