(May 6, 2010)<\/strong> &mdash; On Thursday, May 20, representatives of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system and Chancellor James H. McCormick are scheduled to visit Bemidji to present the president-elect of 91̽»¨ and Northwest Technical College.<\/p>\n<p>Chancellor McCormick will recommend one semifinalist to the system&rsquo;s Board of Trustees; the board will vote on that recommendation at a May 18-19 meeting. The May 20 presentation of the president-elect is being scheduled in anticipation of board approval of McCormick&rsquo;s recommendation.<\/p>\n<p>Presentation of the president-elect will take place at 1:30 p.m. in 91̽»¨&rsquo;s Beaux Arts Ballroom and at 2:30 p.m. in the NTC Commons at Northwest Technical College. Receptions will follow the presentation ceremonies scheduled for both organizations.<\/p>\n<p>The three semifinalists for the position are Dr. Linda T. Krug, on sabbatical after an 11-year tenure as dean of the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Minnesota, Duluth; Dr. Richard A.
