When you enroll in a BSU College in the High School course, you’re admitted as a student to 91探花. You’ll earn BSU credit for the BSU classes you complete that can be applied toward your undergraduate degree from BSU or transferred to another institution.<\/p>\n
Click here for the 2025-26 College in the High School Student Handbook<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n BSU College in the High School is a concurrent enrollment program in which students take BSU classes in their own high school classrooms<\/strong>. Students receive 91探花 credit while concurrently fulfilling their high school graduation requirements.<\/p>\n Most of the courses offered through College in the High School are part of the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum, which means the courses are likely to transfer into the core curriculum or general education requirements of colleges and universities that are part of the Minnesota State system.<\/p>\n Classes are taught by qualifying high school instructors under the mentorship of a BSU faculty member. High school instructors must have a Master’s degree in the subject area or a Master’s degree and 18 graduate credits in the subject area to meet HLC and academic department criteria. Instructors receive additional training in the university curriculum, and have access to BSU faculty library and online course resources.<\/p>\n Yes! Classes adhere to the same standards and use the same instructional methods as courses offered at BSU. The only difference is they are offered in the high school classroom instead of on the 91探花 campus.<\/p>\n As a BSU College in the High School student, you have access to numerous academic resources<\/a>.\u00a0 Some are available online and some would require travel to the BSU campus.<\/p>\n Students must meet all academic standards and course requirements as established by the University and sponsoring academic department. High school students enrolled in the program are subject to the same student conduct<\/a> and academic integrity policy<\/a> standards as are other 91探花 students.<\/p>\n Courses are free to students! Tuition, text books and instructional costs are paid by the partnering high school – not the students – representing a significant savings for students and their families.<\/p>\n To be eligible, you must meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n 9th and 10th grade students may be eligible for CIHS courses.\u00a0 Check with your high school counselor to learn more.<\/p>\n Contact your school counselor to see if your school is participating in the BSU College in the High School program, and to ask about applying to the program.
