DLiTE is a comprehensive elementary education licensure program for both rural and urban students who cannot attend a full-time, campus-based teacher education program. It is a six semester (three-year) course of study that culminates in a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and teacher license eligibility. A four semester (two-year) option is also available. New cohorts start each Spring (January) and Fall (August) semester.

Online learning in the program involves using the web-based instructional management system‚ D2L Brightspace. Because DLiTE is a degree program, most students are eligible for financial aid.
