The 4-percent increase also marked BSU&rsquo;s first increase in fall enrollment over the previous year since 2017.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>The 30th day of fall classes &mdash; which this year fell on Oct. 7 &mdash; is the official fall census date used by all Minnesota State colleges and universities.<\/p>\n<p>BSU&rsquo;s 2024 student body hails from 43 different states, and with 23 students sharing the name, Grace is the most popular first name amongst our students.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A total of 4,076 students &mdash; an increase of 4.2% over last year &mdash; were enrolled at Bemidji State on the 30th day of fall classes this year, giving the university its highest fall enrollment since 2021.
