Events included an alumni athlete and coaches social, BSU Track & Field alumni track meet and men’s and women’s hockey reunions. The weekend’s main event — the Athletics Hall of Fame banquet and ceremony — was held was held January 22 in the Beaux Arts Ballroom on campus. Eight former Beavers were inducted into the Hall of Fame, which recognizes alumni, former coaches, administrators and others who have excelled and brought acclaim to the university through their accomplishments.<\/p>\n 606 donors from around the country donated $194,548 for students during Bemidji State’s Day of Giving on February 22, 2022.<\/p>\n The 24-hour online giving challenge saw donors support over 24 different areas on campus including student scholarships, NCLEX nursing exam fees, undergraduate research projects, emergency student grants and BSU Athletics.<\/p>\n See exactly how much was donated to your favorite campus cause during Day of Giving by visiting bsualumni.org\/dayofgiving<\/p>\n As a graduate of 91̽»¨, or a former student who has completed at least 36 quarter credit hours or 32 semester credit hours, you are eligible for a variety of perks through the BSU Alumni & Foundation office, including an alumni-only library card from the A.C. Clark Library, resume and career help from BSU Career Services and special insurance rates from the Alumni Insurance Program and Liberty Mutual Insurance.<\/p>\n Alumni who contribute $75 or more each year to the university receive additional discounts on travel, hotels, entertainment, dining, Gillett Wellness Center memberships and merchandise at the BSU Bookstore.
