Teacher candidates in both the on-campus and DLiTE programs may elect to pursue an optional endorsement in PrePrimary or Middle Level teaching to deepen their knowledge in a specific subject area and teach a broader range of ages. Endorsements typically require an additional 20-30 credits and may result in additional licenses, if all requirements are met.<\/p>\n
The Communication Arts & Literature Endorsement is an optional add-on for Education students. It can be added to any full license and results in licensure to teach Middle School English\/Communication Arts (Grades 5-8).<\/p>\n
