This is one of the most important steps in the job search process. It&rsquo;s your chance to shine and show the employer why you&rsquo;re the right person for the role.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"353\" data-end=\"664\">The interviewer&rsquo;s goal is to determine if you have the skills to succeed in the position, the motivation to contribute, and the potential to be a good fit within the organization&rsquo;s culture. For example, &ldquo;Tell me about a time when you had to work closely with someone whose personality was very different from yours.&rdquo;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare 5 questions to ask the interviewer(s) at the end of the interview<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Prepare\n<ul>\n<li>Test drive to the interview site the day before<\/li>\n<li>Have copies of your resume, reference sheet and unofficial transcripts<\/li>\n<li>Be sure your interview attire is clean and ironed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>DAY OF THE INTERVIEW<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Arrive and enter the building ten minutes early<\/li>\n<li>Greet the interview panel professionally, smile and maintain eye contact<\/li>\n<li>Be mindful of your non-verbal communication<\/li>\n<li>Leave your phone in the car<\/li>\n<li>At the conclusion of the interview, determine the next steps<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>AFTER THE INTERVIEW<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>As soon as possible write down what you&rsquo;re thinking and feeling.
